This 120 credit Level 7 Extended Diploma route develops advanced expertise in solving complex computing challenges, managing IT projects, and understanding the wider impact of technology on society. Learners build the skills to design, plan and deliver high quality technology projects on time and within budget, with progression opportunities to the final stage of a master’s degree at many UK universities through on-campus or distance learning.

Level 5 Extended Diploma
This Level 5 Extended Diploma route builds core knowledge in programming, cyber security, systems analysis, databases, networking, software engineering and IT project management. Learners complete both Level 4 and Level 5, totalling 240 credits, which is broadly equivalent to the first two years of a UK degree. Successful completion can support progression to the final year of a bachelor’s degree at many UK universities through on-campus or distance learning.
