The Level 5 Diploma in Teaching is suitable for learners who are already practising within the education sector, as well as experienced subject specialists who are not currently teaching but want to consolidate their experience with a formal qualification. This Ofqual-regulated TQUK qualification, TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills), qualification number 610/3842/8, combines approximately 1200 hours of study with online written assignments, portfolio evidence, teaching observations, 250 hours of teaching practice and a final professional discussion. Learners study 11 units through guided online content, tutor support, independent learning, exercises, readings and self-assessment tasks while gaining real teaching experience through a required placement in a Further Education setting.
